Imagined in 1904 by Louis Cartier for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, the Santos de Cartier is the world's first sports wristwatch. Its visible screws, curved flanks and integrated bracelet with two identities — metal or leather — make it an icon of masculine and unisex watchmaking.
The Cartier watch WSSA0039 (Santos de Cartier Large model, automatic movement, steel ADLC, interchangeable leather and rubber straps) is defined by exceptional finishing and architecture: Bezel and Case in steel and ADLC, steel crown set with a faceted black synthetic spinel, black dial, sword-shaped hands in black steel with luminescent material, sapphire crystal. First rubber strap, second black alligator strap, interchangeable folding clasp in steel. Both straps are fitted with the Quick Switch interchangeability system. Case width : 39.8 mm, thickness : 9.38 mm. Water-resistant to 10 bars (approximately 100 metres).
DouxJoaillier is an official Cartier retailer.
