What is Watches and Wonders?

The event began in 1991 in Geneva under the name Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH). Alain-Dominique Perrin, director of the famous Cartier brand, was behind the creation of this event. The idea was to create a private global watchmaking exhibition in Geneva to showcase the most renowned and innovative luxury brands. In the early years, only a few brands were present at the stands. Today, dozens of iconic brands come together each year to dazzle industry professionals and enthusiasts alike. In 2020, the SIHH was renamed Watches and Wonders and became one of the most iconic luxury watch fairs in the world.

When is Watches and Wonders taking place in 2025?

It's clear that this is no ordinary trade show, but rather a spectacular event that takes place in Geneva every year! It's also important to note that the event is divided into two parts. Professionals can attend Watches and Wonders all week, but the days from April 1 to April 6 are reserved for them. The days open to the public are from Saturday, April 5 to Monday, April 7. The show is open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., except on Monday when the event closes at 5 p.m.

Where does the Watches and Wonders event take place?

As every year, the Watches and Wonders event takes place in Switzerland, in Geneva, the world capital of luxury watchmaking. It should be noted that there has already been an additional edition held in another city and even in another country, in Shanghai. Nevertheless, the main edition always takes place every year in Geneva. The show is held at PALEXPO, which is easily accessible from the city center, the airport, the train station, and the highway.
